Project Aims and Objectives
- Create a deployable & scalable digital platform for HF diagnosis & treatment initiation.
- Prospectively validate AI analysis of echocardiogram images in pragmatic cohort.
- Create AI models to:
- Identify those at highest risk of having HF.
- Support clinical triage and prioritisation of those at highest risk.
Achievements & Milestones
- Waiting times reduced from 12 months to 6 weeks (Jan-Aug 2021)
- Streamlined pathway with greater efficiency and increased capacity.
- Comprehensive HF consultant management plan vs standalone tests.
- HF consultant can remotely manage 20 patients per clinical session vs 10 new patients face to face.
