Richard Price - Director of Value Access and Policy (UK & Ireland) at Amgen

Richard is an accomplished leader with 24 years’ experience in the life science sector, specializing in commercial and market access leadership.

As Senior Director of Value Access and Policy at Amgen Ltd he has a strong track record of spearheading national engagement and partnership strategies aimed at improving health outcomes and care delivery through ensuring timely access and uptake of innovative treatments for patients.

Prior to joining Amgen, Richard held senior leadership roles at Boehringer Ingelheim and Pfizer, having previously spent 10 years working in the NHS.

Richard actively participates on the commercial and VPAG BSG and has recently been appointed as co-chair of the Wales CV Industry Collaboration.

Richard was raised in Wales where he lives today with his wife, having also studied environmental science and health system leadership in Cardiff.
